Hiking in the Moutains

For the last couple of weeks, I’ve been completely bored thinking of things to do. Because of the lock-down I’m not working at the moment, and so I thought I’d take the opportunity to get to know nature a bit better. Just east of Adelaide is the absolutely huge Black Hill Conservation Park that’s great for hiking. Yesterday I took the entire day to walk through as much of the best areas as I could find.

The weather managed to stay fine most of the day, and I took advantage of it by climbing pretty much every scenic view. Unfortunately some of the hills were a bit steep to climb, but I did my best to capture some great shots. Have a look at what I found, below.
Thought I'd play it safe and not try to eat the berries on the tree...
Couldn't believe it when I saw this beautiful bush growing up the side of a gum tree.
Something about moss and algae reminds me of something alien. It probably has to do with my love of the film Annihilation.
Managed to snap this shot of a Kookaburra before he flew away. I'm going to try to get a better shot of one next time.
Followed this duck into the water waiting for it to spread its wings. Time well spent.
